Our Mission
Our mission is to provide opportunities for all low-income youth to play sports while building physical and social skills that will serve them for a lifetime. When these students are given the same opportunities as those with access to the proper resources, many of them find benefits that help them in their future. Team skills, positive health effects, and abilities related to social interaction are just a few of the benefits.
In addition, we provide community events, where kids of all ages can volunteer. We want to help children and their families give back to their communities in a meaningful way. To do this, we work with charitable organizations to develop programs that are specifically meant to engage children from five years and up so they can be introduced to the concept of charitable work early in their lives.
Very few charities have programs that are aimed at children and their families, which makes it difficult for people with young children to perform charity work. We believe if you have small children, you shouldn’t have to find a babysitter when you want to do something to give back to your community. You should be able to bring them along and do it together.
DONATE
We are an organization run 100% by volunteers. We do not have any overhead or paid employees. All your donations will go to helping others with the help of other kids. Our primary goal is to help kids helping other kids in need such as homeless kids and families.
Thank you so much for your support.
Our Story
Kids4Sports was founded by young community organizer Arden Pala with the help of friends and family. Early on, he volunteered at soup kitchens, which sparked his passion to give back to the community and take action.
Arden’s first charitable project was to produce and direct a documentary that shed light to the homeless situation in San Diego.
He named his documentary “A Second Chance” after hearing stories of people from all walks of life. He believes that when given a second chance they can get back on track and said, time spent with the homeless and the organization that supports them gives him hope.
“I wrote it, I directed it, and I thought of the idea. I decided to make this documentary so I can hep the city, not just the city, but homelessness in general and all of the United States”
The documentary won many awards including: SoCal Film Award, Creators Film Festival Award, American Youth Film Festival

Gold Presidential Volunteer Service Award
Arden Pala was honored with the President’s Gold Volunteer Service Award for his service in the community.
The President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) recognizes individuals who are committed to a high level of volunteer and service. These individuals work tirelessly to help solve some of the toughest challenges facing their communities, and our nation.
