Sir Donald Bradman first class innings bat

This bat was used by cricket legend Sir Donald Bradman in his last first-class innings in WA. Bradman, as well as 17 members of the 1948 ‘The Invincibles’ team has signed the on the shoulder of the bat. He used this bat in a three-day match for an Australian XI cricket team at the WACA Ground against WA on March 15, 1948, which was his last first-class innings. In that match Bradman scored 115 runs from 154 balls and feature a second wicket partnership of 241 with Arthur Morris.

Sir Donald George Bradman was the greatest batsman of all time. His batting average of 99.94 in test matches has been claimed to be statistically the greatest achievement in any major sport. He had played 52 test matches and scored 6,996 runs with a batting average of 99.94.
