The jersey is signed by – Vincent Del Bosque, Raul Albiol, Xavi Hernandez, David villa, Fernando Torres, Sergio Ramos, Carles Puyol, Casillas,, Victor Vlades, Pepe Reina, Pedro Rodriguez, Jess Navas, Juan Manuel Mata, Carlos Marchena, Fernando Llorente, Andres Iniesta, Cesc Fabregas, Joan Capedevilla, Sergio Basquets, Alvaro Arbeloa, and Xabi Alonso.

This jersey is a very special jersey, since it is signed by the members of Spain’s soccer dream team. It is the dream team because they had won the FIFA world cup for the very first time. They defeated Netherlands by solitary goal scored by Andres Iniesta in the 116th minutes of extra time.

Spain’s Goalkeeper Casillas won the Golden Glove award for conceding only two goals throughout the tournament. David Villa, who had scored five goals and provided one assists, won the bronze ball and silver boot award.

Spain created the history by winning the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Spain became the only team that has won the FIFA World Cup Championship after losing its opening game. They also became the first European team to win the title outside Europe and the second team to win a FIFA title outside their own continent.

Nothing feels better than wearing the jersey, which is signed by the dream team of Spain.

It was a quarter final match between England vs Argentina, which was held at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City on 22nd June 1986, during the FIFA World Cup.

The match replay showed that Maradona scored the first goal by striking the ball with his hand. It became known as “Hand of God”. This was described as “a little with the head of Maradona and a little with the hand of God.” The “Hand of God” controversy had made this match one of the most memorable and heroic matches in FIFA World Cup history. Finally, on 22nd August 2005, Maradona accepted on television that he had hit the ball with his hand deliberately, and that he instantly knew the goal was illegal.

The Argentine star is remembered for his numerous attention-grabbing quirkiness, especially his “Hand of God” controversy. I recall the epic match and how I became very excited when Maradona hit the ball with his hand. I want to possess that ball. Since, Maradona had hit the ball with his hand, I have gone crazy about that ball. I wish I could touch that ball once in my lifetime.

Lou Gehrig signed bank check for $25 from the First National Bank of New Rochelle, New York with his rarer full name, “Henry Louis Gehrig” on 19th May, 1936 brought $14,950.

Henry Louis “Lou” Gehrig was an American Major League Baseball first baseman. He is also called as “The Iron House”. He played has 17 years of his life in baseball for the New York Yankees. In baseball history, no one possessed as much humility and talent as Lou Gehrig. In 1939, he was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Gehrig’s accomplishments on the field of baseball made him an authentic American hero, and his tragic early death made him a legend. His career was cut short by amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) which is now commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease in Canada and United States.

Lou Gehrig personal checks are virtually nonexistent. But this check is signed with his full name which provides an additional a very distinction and dimension of interest, as very few signatures of Gehrig’s full name are known to exist. This check is made payable to The Sporting News and it also gives it a connection with the baseball that is note of worthy. This check is the example which was sold at the 20th Annual National Sports Collectors Convention in 1999. It has three vertical creases that is virtually undetectable. It is one of the rarest of all Hall of Famer checks in good condition and an extraordinary Gehrig signed item.

It is the deepest and darkest corner of Lancashire in England where lies a small football-mad town, Preston. The town offers the star attraction for the visitors - National Football Museum.

England was the birthplace for the world’s most popular and professional game of football. The National Football Museum was a museum opened in 2001 at Deepdale which is one of the oldest professional football grounds in the world. It was founded to conserve, preserve and interpret the various important collections of association football memorabilia.

It is the first of its kind in the world, to bring the history of the game to people in different galleries within the stands at the stadium of Deepdale. The building of the museum incorporates various football references. This museum is multi-sensory and accessible to everyone. The museum is open six days a week and the entrance to the museum is free. Pele had worn that shirt in his final international match which was held between Brazil and Yugoslavia on 18 July 1971 in Rio de Janeiro. In the final game of his career, he swapped his shirt with Yugoslavia’s number six, Dragon Holcar. This shirt was subsequently displayed in a cafe in Split, Croatia for over twenty years.

Pele, the king of soccer, is widely regarded as the greatest footballer of all time. He retired from the game when he was still a top player. He had completed 111 appearances with an international scoring record of 97 goals which were an all-time record. He retired at the age of 34 scoring 1,283 goals in 1,366 games. His record is second only to Arthur Freidenreich of Brazil.

In the last international match of Pele’s career, the Brazilian team recorded 67 wins, 11 loses and 14 draws. With Pele on the field, Brazilian team won three World Cups. They never lost a match while fielding both Garrincha and Pele. In his last appearance in World Cups Finals in 1970, Pele scored an opening goal in the Final and Brazil won their third World Cup by defeating Italy 4-1.

Nowadays, Pele is FIFA’s World Ambassador for the game of soccer and is widely respected for his promotion of the most popular and beautiful game around the globe.

Situated at 25 Main Street in Cooperstown of New York, the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is an American historical museum. It is an independent and non-profit educational institution which is dedicated to the appreciation of the historical development of baseball and its impact on culture by collecting, exhibiting, preserving and interpreting its collections for global audience. It also honors those who have made outstanding contributions to the national pastime in playing, managing and serving the sport.

The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is served as the focal point for the study of the history of baseball in United States. The Hall of Fame is operated by private interests. The word Cooperstown is frequently used as the shorthand for the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. The motto of the Hall of Fame is “Preserving History, Honoring Excellence, Connecting Generations”.

According to the Hall of Fame, approximately 350,000 visitors visit this museum each year. They see only a fraction of its 35,00 artifacts, 130,000 baseball cards and 2.6 million library items such as newspaper photos and clippings. The Hall of Fame is comprised of 295 elected members which includes 205 former major league players, 35 Negro leaguers, 19 managers, 27 executives as well as nine umpires.

The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is a huge brick building with newly renovated, inviting outside entrance. The Hall of Fame gallery itself is a large room which is the centerpiece of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. It is the ideal place where excellence is honored. The gallery contains the plaques of baseball’s immortals, separated by the year of induction. It boasts baseball’s important players, owners, coaches and broadcasters. While the Hall of Fame is the soul of building, the museum is the mind of the building. It houses all sorts of artifacts of baseball’s history and the big current events. The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum has devoted a small section to the women of baseball, another one for minor leagues and one for stadiums and announcers of the past. It also has a wonderful library and an appealing park area which is perfect for a short stroll.

If you like the sport of baseball, seeing the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is a slightly overwhelming experience. It is the place to recognize the game’s greatness and go back to the childhood by reading the stats of your favorite baseball players. It is also a great way to bring the history of sport to the younger generations.
